I'm becoming a regular foodie!

I am officially a fan of Indian food (well, not so much curry, but masala is all good). I never used to like spicy food but Chris has made me a convert. We went to this wee little indian food buffet close to Pearson called Indian Sweets and Restaurant. It was freaking good, and I LOOOOVE butter chicken, and the tofu peas masala (I don't even like peas lol but it was good), and the chickpea masala? I didn't taste curry anyway. with rice and lots of buttered naan and some gulab jamun for dessert... it was amazing. Oh and I had some cucumber and lettuce plain to help counteract the spiciness.

I am determined to make my own Indian food so I've been youtube-ing the recipes and looking at the reviews lol. So delicious! I already know how to make gulab jamun. It's a little hard but worth it by far! The rest of the food seems really easy to make, too!

To think, all this time I avoided Indian food because I tried it once and didn't like it when I was like 11 or 12 and super picky. My tastes really have changed a lot.

describe it again, can ya?
I may have had it

I have tried lots of different indian dishes, but prefer the saucy ones, with chicken, cause then you dip your naan in it, soooo delicious!

Gulab Jamun are the deep fried milk powder balls soaked in a cardamom syrup, they're to die for! If they weren't so fattening I'd make them every day lol.

Reggie and I are so scared to eat it. I had a horrible experience with cury at about 12. An east indian guy cooked me curry during a date though and it was heaven. I think he used some mild curry sauce from teh grocery store. I wish I knew what the meal is called. It was chicken, veggies (peas is the only one I can rememebr) and rice. MMMMMMM

This is off topic, but since it's stating to warm up we should start trying to get together again soon for playdates. Of course I am limited to what playgrounds I can go to.. Brody and Jacob are too much for one person to chase around! We can go for walks though.

When are you going north with Chris? How long will you be away?

Apparently "curry" to Indians just means a gravy of spices and stuff so it might not have been actual curry spice... I just learned that lol. Then again it probably was curry paste though, you're right it's probably the "mild" version.
You gotta try butter chicken, it's amazing stuff!

Yeah we definitely should get together soon, Im gonna be buying a wagon soon cause I don't use strollers for April anymore, I need to get out and help me loose some of this weight, i've been stuck at 180 lbs for a couple weeks now.

Chris ended up being rejected for a mortgage cause the price was too low for them to make much money, and it was too high to be approved for a personal loan so moving up north has been cancelled thankfully! I'll be in Toronto for a while yet, yay! :)

Great. So as soon as it gets warmer we can start doing stuff again. And my kids stop teething.

We are looking at getting them a wagon for Easter. But we also want them to have a Power Wheels so it's a tough decision. We probably will just buy both because that damn double stroller is garbage and they are both too big for it.. Jake is a big boy for his age.
